It is approximately 10 minutes from the railway station on foot. ROOMS The rooms are medium, clean and modern. They are simply furnished with pine floors with peach or blue soft furnishings. There is a comfortable feel throughout despite the lack of `extra` touches. Bathrooms have been renovated and are in good condition. EXTERIOR This is a modern, grey concrete building, as is much of the city`s architecture. LOBBY The lobby area is quite small and there is not a lot of seating. However, at one end of the reception there is a large bar/restaurant with a modern atmosphere. It features light wood, is blue and luminous under the atrium roof window and is very popular with locals. At the other end is another large bar area of dark wood and pub style. GENERAL This is a well maintained property that is popular with families. The hotel has the obligatory sauna and swimming pool for the use of guests. Overall this is a good standard of budget accommodation in Turku.
